Welcome to the hiking route in the picturesque area of Lauenen. This moderate 5.98 km out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.

As you begin your hike, you will come across a convenient parking area, making it easy to access the trailhead. The trail leads you through lush greenery, with the option to stop at Passhöhe Ibergeregg for a meal at the restaurant.

About midway through the hike, you will reach Alpwirtschaft Zwäcken, where you can refuel and enjoy the surroundings. Further along, you will encounter Müsliegg viewpoint and Stägleren viewpoint, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the area.

Throughout the trail, you will also find informational points such as Zwäcken and Stäglerenegg, providing insights into the local flora and fauna. Additionally, there are benches strategically placed along the route for hikers to rest and take in the beautiful scenery.

As you near the end of the trail, you'll pass by Sonnenhütte restaurant and the Ibergeregg information point, before reaching the highlight of the hike - the Rotenflue viewpoint. Here, you can marvel at the surroundings and perhaps even enjoy a meal at Gipfelstubli restaurant.

With an elevation gain of 143 meters, this hike offers a moderate challenge suitable for most hikers.
