Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across "Parkplatz Genottehöhe," a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, about 70 meters away, you will find "Gasthof Genottehöhe," a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat or rest before or after your hike.

Further along the trail, at about 200 meters from the start, you will encounter a historical point of interest - a wayside shrine. Around the halfway point of the trail, at 570 meters from the start, you will find two benches where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

A highlight of this hike is the "Genottehöhe" viewpoint, approximately 620 meters from the start, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, you can explore historic ruins located about 660 meters from the start.

For those interested in natural formations, a cave entrance called "Durezza-Schachthöhle" can be found 1.1 kilometers from the start, but it is not directly on the trail. Information points and viewpoints are scattered along the route, providing insight into the area's history and geography.

As you reach the turnaround point of the out-and-back trail, take a moment to relax on the benches and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before heading back to the starting point.
