This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Bergkreuz Gmaisberg and Dekan-Schnitter-Straße. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 2.168 kilometers and an elevation gain of 42 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. About 0.27 kilometers into the hike, you will find a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Continuing on, at around 0.87 kilometers, you will reach the Bergkreuz Gmaisberg viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the area. Just a bit further at 0.89 kilometers, you will see the peak of the trail, providing a sense of accomplishment.

As you make your way back on the trail, you will pass by a historic wayside cross at 0.89 kilometers and a bench at 0.2 kilometers from the start, where you can rest and take in the scenery.
