Hiking : Sentiero Val di Gola

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Sentiero Val di Gola, offering stunning views and a challenging adventure. The trail spans a distance of 10.353 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1342 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.

Starting off, you will find parking areas and a picnic site at the beginning of the trail, perfect for gearing up and enjoying a meal before embarking on your journey. As you progress, you will come across the historic site of Canonica di Besenello and a shelter named Prà de Gola, providing interesting points of interest along the way.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter a viewpoint named Val di Gola, offering a panoramic view of the surroundings. Further along the trail, you will discover the Addolorata wayside shrine and a drinking water station for replenishing your supply.

Towards the end of the route, you will reach another viewpoint and the Nonna Giulia ice cream shop, where you can treat yourself to a sweet reward for completing the challenging hike. Additionally, you will pass by Stemmi Trapp artwork, adding a touch of cultural significance to your outdoor adventure.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back, giving you a chance to appreciate the same scenic views from a different perspective.
