Hiking : Sentiero Val di Gola

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Sentiero Val di Gola, offering breathtaking views and a challenging terrain. The trail covers a distance of 10.353 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1342 meters, making it an extremely difficult route with a duration of approximately 5 hours and 45 minutes.

As you start your hike, you'll come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find parking facilities and a picnic site at Parco Urbano. Further along the trail, there is a historic building called Canonica di Besenello and a shelter named Prà de Gola where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, you'll encounter a viewpoint at Val di Gola and a wayside shrine called Addolorata. These are perfect spots to rest and admire the scenic beauty of the area. Additionally, there are drinking water facilities along the trail to keep you hydrated.

Towards the end of the route, you'll reach another viewpoint at a distance of 5.18 kilometers from the start, offering stunning vistas of the surroundings. Before heading back, you can visit Nonna Giulia, an ice cream parlour located 0.31 kilometers from the starting point, to treat yourself to a refreshing snack.
