This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Chão dos Terreiros. The 5.191 kilometers long trail offers an elevation gain of 245 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is estimated to take around 1 hour and 48 minutes to complete.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a picnic site located right by the trail, perfect for a quick rest or snack. Further along the trail, at a distance of 2.6 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Chão dos Terreiros, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Along the way, you will also pass by a parking area at the beginning of the trail, a viewpoint with a picturesque outlook just 0.76 kilometers from the start, and an information point labeled as PR 12 Caminho Real close to the trail.

As you make your way back, do not miss the wayside shrine located just 0.02 kilometers from the start and another viewpoint offering a different perspective of the area.
