This hiking route will take you through the stunning area of Gàna de le Gabiöle on the Sentiero Augusto Pasotti trail. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 8.302 kilometers and an elevation gain of 463 meters, making it a difficult level hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
Starting from the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will soon come across the Val Bertone picnic site, located 1.61 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a meal while surrounded by the beautiful nature of the area.
As you continue on the trail, at around 3.21 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a striking rock formation that adds to the scenic beauty of the hike. Further along the trail, you will find more picnic sites, springs for fresh water, benches to rest, and information points to learn more about the surroundings.
Halfway through the hike, at approximately 3.6 kilometers from the start, you will come across another fascinating rock formation that is worth stopping to appreciate. As you make your way back towards the starting point, be sure to check out the BBQ spots located along the trail, perfect for a quick snack or lunch break.
