Polom is a beautiful area known for its stunning landscapes and challenging hiking trails. The route is circular, starting and ending at the parking area.
As you begin your hike, you'll come across the Partizánsky bunker, a historic cave entrance located 1.28 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at 1.3 kilometers, you'll find a memorial site that offers a moment of reflection.
Midway through the hike, at 2.57 kilometers, there are two viewpoints where you can stop and admire the scenic beauty of the surroundings. The trail also passes by a spring at 3.57 kilometers, providing a refreshing stop for hikers.
At 3.65 kilometers, near Chata Pod Náružím - Červenec, an alpine hut serves as a perfect resting point. Here, you can refuel and enjoy the picturesque surroundings before continuing on your journey.
The route covers a distance of 7.651 kilometers with an elevation gain of 530 meters, making it a challenging yet rewarding hike. It is advisable to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
