Welcome to the hiking route to Grinches de Tòrt! This 11.114-kilometer long and 674-meter elevation gain trail is categorized as difficult, so be prepared for a challenging but rewarding hike.
Starting from the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will first pass by an alpine hut called Cabana de Rius just 0.06 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the surroundings before continuing.
As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various water sources scattered throughout the route. These are perfect for refilling your water bottle and staying hydrated. Some of these water points are closer to the beginning of the trail, while others are further away, so plan accordingly.
Around the midway point of the hike, you will find an information point with interesting facts about the area. Take some time to learn about the region and catch your breath before tackling the second half of the trail.
Towards the end of the route, approximately 1.41 kilometers from the start, you will reach another shelter called Cabana Basses de Rius. This is a good spot to rest and enjoy the scenery before heading back on the same trail.
