Welcome to the Tossau de Mar hiking route, located in a beautiful natural area with stunning views and challenging terrain.

This extremely difficult 14.352-kilometer hike with an elevation gain of 1066 meters will take you approximately 6 hours to complete. As the route is an out-and-back type, you will start at the parking area near Cabana de Rius.

As you begin your journey, make sure to stop by the Cabana de Rius alpine hut located just 0.06 kilometers from the start for a quick rest and some magnificent views. Further along the trail, at 1.79 kilometers from the start, you will reach Refugi de la Restanca, another alpine hut where you can take a break or spend the night if you wish.

Along the way, you will encounter various water sources for refilling your bottles, such as Era Restanca at 1.7 kilometers, and other drinking water points located at different distances throughout the hike.

Midway through the route, at 5.89 kilometers from the start, you will reach Colhada deth Lac de Mar, a scenic saddle offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

For the more adventurous hikers, Tossau de Mar Peak awaits at 7.18 kilometers from the start, with Tossau de Mar Petit and other peaks and saddles nearby to explore.
