As you start your journey at the Knotenpunkt 11 - Unterer Backertsweg, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. Just 1.09 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across a bench where you can take a rest and enjoy the surroundings. Further ahead at 0.88 kilometers, you'll find the Grenzstein XXXVII (37), a historic boundary stone marking the border.

As you continue on, at 1.26 kilometers, you'll reach the peak of Vaalserberg, the highest point in the Netherlands. This spot offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and is a perfect place to take in the scenery.

Along the trail, you'll also pass by various eateries such as the Aux Trois Bornes cafe and Frietkot fast food joint, where you can refuel and recharge before continuing your hike.
