Welcome to the Sonnenleite hiking route! This scenic trail is a super easy out-and-back route, with a total distance of approximately 1.96 kilometers and no elevation gain.

As you begin your hike, you will come across the "Piratenflotte" attraction, located right at the start of the trail. This is a great spot to visit before heading out on your adventure.

Along the way, you will pass by several water sources, some of which are closer to the start while others are further along the trail. These spots are perfect for a quick break to enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature.

At about 0.14 kilometers into the hike, you will also come across a historic wayside shrine, adding a cultural touch to your outdoor experience.

For those driving to the trailhead, there are convenient parking options available at the beginning of the route, with wheelchair-accessible parking spots also provided.

Remember to bring plenty of water, as there are no significant elevation changes to provide shade along the trail. Additionally, it's always a good idea to check the weather forecast before setting out on your hike.
