This hiking route takes you through a scenic area with historical landmarks and natural beauty. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 4.58 kilometers and an elevation gain of 73 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the iconic city gate of Porte du Fabregol, a historic site just 0.03 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will also find parking areas, benches, and informational points to enhance your hiking experience.
As you continue on the trail, at around 2.09 kilometers from the start, you will come across Lavogne, a natural water feature that is perfect for a quick rest stop. Further along, you will encounter the Wayside Cross and the historic monument Le Fort, adding cultural richness to your journey.
At the turnaround point of the hike, approximately 2.29 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with a stunning viewpoint overlooking the Pic Saint-Loup and l'Hortus mountains, providing a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
