This extremely difficult 12.399-kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you through a challenging terrain with an elevation gain of 859 meters in the beautiful area surrounding Rocca Vù.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across the parking area. As you continue on, you will pass by the Trattoria degli Alpini restaurant about 1.29 kilometers from the start, which could be a great spot to refuel on your way back.

Around 1.26 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water source to replenish your supplies. Further along the trail at 2.35 kilometers, you have the opportunity to explore the historic Pilone Pupioun monument.

Enjoy a stunning viewpoint at 0.16 kilometers from the start before reaching the peaks of La Falconiera and Roc du Jermu at 3.63 and 4.91 kilometers, respectively. At the midway point, approximately 6.2 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Rocca Vù offering breathtaking panoramic views.

Throughout the hike, you will also find drinking water sources and informative signboards at various points to enhance your experience and provide necessary information.

This challenging hike requires proper preparation, including bringing enough water, snacks, and checking the weather forecast before heading out.
