Located in the Thuringian Forest, this challenging hiking route spans 8.838 kilometers with an elevation gain of 332 meters, taking an estimated 2 hours and 52 minutes to complete. The trail starts at a parking area and the first point of interest is "Vögel des Waldes" information point, located midway through the hike. Further along, hikers will find the "Flößerteich" water feature, a serene spot to rest and take in the surroundings.

As you continue on, there are various amenities along the way, such as the "Pension und Gaststätte Hirschblick" restaurant and the "Arnika Stadl" pub. For nature enthusiasts, there are several points of interest to explore, including the "Naturpark Thüringer Wald e.V." information center, "Naturparkzentrum Friedrichshöhe", and "Lebensraum Quellflur" information points.

Towards the end of the hike, hikers will reach the peak of "Saarberg", offering a magnificent view of the Blessberg.
