Welcome to the Hesselboesch hiking route! This scenic trail offers a 3.179-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 174 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Starting at the parking area located just 0.03 kilometers from the trailhead, you will begin your adventure through the picturesque landscape. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. About 1.42 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a historic wayside cross, adding a touch of local history to your experience.

Continuing along the path, at 1.56 kilometers, you will reach the Gansberg peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. A little further on, at 1.59 kilometers, you will find a parking area where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery.

As you trek back towards the starting point, be sure to stop by the Bunkerrest ruins at 1.1 kilometers and the picnic site at 1.42 kilometers for some interesting sights and a relaxing spot to rest. Additionally, there are several benches along the trail where you can take a moment to soak in the natural beauty of Hesselboesch.
