This challenging hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Steinkogel peak. The trail spans a distance of 11.49 kilometers with an elevation gain of 896 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting off, you will pass by the Kemater Alm restaurant and alpine hut, located 0.15 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat before continuing on your journey. As you hike further, at 1.24 kilometers from the start, you will come across a bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surrounding scenery.

Around the midway point of the hike, at 4.01 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views of the area. This is a perfect place to take some photos and soak in the beauty of the landscape.

Continuing on, you will eventually reach the Adolf-Pichler-Hütte alpine hut at 1.89 kilometers from the start. This is another opportunity to refuel and recharge before making the final push to the Steinkogel peak.

Near the end of the trail, at 4.88 kilometers from the start, you will find the picturesque Schlickersee, a peaceful waterbody where you can relax and unwind.
