This hiking route to Steinkogel is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail is 11.493 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 896.0 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 54 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to have some change with you as there may be a fee for parking. About 4.88 kilometers into the hike, you will find the picturesque Schlickersee lake, located a short distance off the trail.
Further along the route, approximately 4.6 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Seejöchl saddle, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Continuing on, at around 5.75 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Steinkogel, presenting you with breathtaking vistas of the area.
