As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to have some change with you as there may be a fee for parking. About 4.88 kilometers into the hike, you will find the picturesque Schlickersee lake, located a short distance off the trail.

Further along the route, approximately 4.6 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Seejöchl saddle, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Continuing on, at around 5.75 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Steinkogel, presenting you with breathtaking vistas of the area.

For sustenance and accommodation options, there are two alpine huts along the trail. The Kemater Alm is located 0.15 kilometers from the start, while the Adolf-Pichler-Hütte is situated 1.89 kilometers into the hike.

Remember to stay hydrated during your hike, especially as there is a spring approximately 3.23 kilometers from the start where you can refill your water bottles. Additionally, there are benches scattered along the trail where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery.
