This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area known as Kammweg. The trail is 2.748 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 157 meters, making it an easy hike that can be completed in about an hour.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. About halfway through the hike, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at 1.37 kilometers from the start, you will reach a free flying site suitable for takeoff.
At the same location, there is a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the view from a viewpoint that overlooks the area. Nearby, you will also find the historic Königszinne Castle, adding a touch of intrigue to your hike.
For your convenience, benches are placed along the trail at various points, providing opportunities to rest and take in the scenery. Remember to bring water, wear sturdy shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this picturesque out-and-back route in Kammweg.
