Welcome to the Alte Salzstraße hiking route! This circular route spans approximately 4.8 kilometers and offers an easy hiking experience with no significant elevation gain.

The trail starts at Naturcamping Buchholz, a campsite located just 0.95 kilometers from the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across a beautiful beach at 0.84 kilometers, perfect for a quick break to enjoy the surroundings.

Along the route, you'll also find convenient amenities such as parking spots (both free and paid), information posts, drinking water stations, and several benches to rest on. Be sure to stay hydrated and take breaks as needed, especially on warmer days.

Midway through the hike, at 2.32 kilometers, you'll reach a viewpoint that offers stunning vistas of the area. This is a great spot to take in the scenery and snap some photos before continuing on your journey.

As you approach the end of the route, at 0.88 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter Angelsmühle, a restaurant where you can refuel with a meal or snack.
