This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Batteria Mitragliatrici / Maschinengewehr Batterie in Trento. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 3.068 kilometers and an elevation gain of 191 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. About 0.03 kilometers in, you will find the Fontana del Gai, a drinking water spot where you can refill your water bottles. Continuing on, at around 0.31 kilometers, there is an information point to learn more about the area.
As you hike further, at 1.1 kilometers, there is another information point called Stoi de Chegul, offering more insights into the surroundings. Around 1.33 kilometers into the trail, you will reach a viewpoint with stunning views of the landscape. Adjacent to it, there are historic ruins to explore.
Further along the trail, at 1.44 kilometers, you will encounter another information point before reaching a picnic site at 1.48 kilometers. This spot is perfect for taking a break and enjoying a meal amidst nature. Lastly, at 1.53 kilometers, there is another viewpoint where you can take in the scenic beauty of the area.
