This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Batteria Mitragliatrici in Trento. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 3.068 kilometers and an elevation gain of 191 meters, making it an easy and enjoyable hike for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will find a convenient parking area at the beginning of the trail. Approximately 300 meters into the hike, you will come across the Fontana del Gai drinking water point, where you can refill your water bottles and stay hydrated.
Continuing along the trail, at around 310 meters from the start, you will find an information point to learn more about the area. As you trek further, at about 1.1 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter another information point named Stoi de Chegul, providing you with insights into the surroundings.
At the 1.33-kilometer mark, you'll find more information about the area and nearby ruins to explore. Additionally, a viewpoint is located close by, offering stunning scenic views of the landscape.
Further along the trail, at approximately 1.48 kilometers in, there is a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy a snack amidst nature. As you approach the turnaround point, at 1.53 kilometers, you will find another viewpoint to capture the beauty of your surroundings.
