This hiking route offers a moderate challenge with a distance of approximately 6 kilometers and an elevation gain of 239 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is about 2 hours.

Starting your journey, you will find a parking area about 0.15 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue, at around 0.38 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the Hotel des Portes du Soliel, a nearby restaurant off the trail. There is another parking area located at the same distance point.

Around the halfway mark of the trail, at 1.53 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source to refill your bottles. Further along, at 3.01 kilometers into the hike, there is another restaurant called Le Chaudron where you can take a break and grab a meal.

Remember to bring an ample water supply and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure. The trail also offers a fee-based parking lot at the start and a restaurant named La Cabane à Sucre close to the beginning of the route.
