Located in a picturesque area, this 11.4-kilometer circular route offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers. With an elevation gain of 934 meters, the hike is classified as difficult and is estimated to take around 5 hours to complete.
As you embark on this journey, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area that is conveniently located for easy access. As you hike further, you will come across the Karlsbader Hütte, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel with some authentic Austrian cuisine.
Midway through the hike, you will have the opportunity to visit the historic Marcherstein memorial and enjoy the serene surroundings of the Laserzsee. Make sure to stop by the drinking water stations along the trail to stay hydrated.
As you continue onwards, you may spot the Gedenkkapelle wayside shrine and several benches where you can take a break and admire the views. For those seeking more adventure, there are climbing opportunities at Klippe and the via ferrata route at Wet Foot.
Reaching the Laserztörl saddle and peak will provide stunning panoramic views of the surrounding natural beauty. Before heading back, you can visit the Dolomitenhütte restaurant for a well-deserved meal.
