This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Kapiti Shared Way area. The trail is an out-and-back type, making it easy to navigate.
As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area, just 18.6 meters from the trail. This is a perfect spot to leave your vehicle before heading out. About 1.69 kilometers into the hike, you will find water sources at two different points, just a short distance from each other.
For convenience, there are bicycle parking areas along the trail, with the closest one being 0.18 kilometers from the start. These can be handy if you prefer to cycle part of the way.
