This hiking route takes you through the scenic area of Wasserfälle-Franziskusweg - Cascate-Sentiero di S. Francesco. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 2.3 kilometers and an elevation gain of 104 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you begin your journey, you'll come across the first point of interest, a beautiful waterfall known as Wasserfall 1 - Cascata 1, located 0.78 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along the path, at a distance of 1.13 kilometers, you'll encounter another stunning waterfall, Wasserfall 2 - Cascata 2.
For those looking to take a break or enjoy a snack, the Wasserfallbar cafe is conveniently located only 0.02 kilometers from the trail. You'll also find several information points along the way, providing insights into the area's history and natural features.
As you continue hiking, you'll pass by viewpoints offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Be sure to check out the artwork and historic wayside crosses scattered along the trail, adding cultural significance to your outdoor adventure.
Towards the end of the hike, you'll reach the final point of interest, the Pica Pietro Bernardone Francesco artwork, located 1.13 kilometers from the start. This marks a perfect spot to reflect on your hike before making your way back to the trailhead.
