The trail spans 8.745 kilometers with an elevation gain of 789 meters, making it a difficult but exhilarating journey that will take approximately 4 hours to complete.

As you embark on this circular route, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find convenient parking facilities at Aigen. As you make your way towards the peak, you'll pass by the picturesque Steinlingalm restaurant where you can take a well-deserved break and enjoy some local cuisine.

Midway through the hike, you'll come across the Sulten saddle and the informative Checkpoint Chiemgau King, offering insights into the rich history of the area. The trail also leads you to various peaks including Kampenwand-Ostgipfel, Sulten, and Kampenwand-Nordgipfel, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
