This challenging circular hiking route will take you through the stunning Kampenwand region. The trail spans a distance of 8.672 kilometers with an elevation gain of 714 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike with a duration of approximately 3 hours and 47 minutes.

Starting at the Aigen parking area, you'll soon come across informative signs at 2.41 kilometers into the hike. As you continue, at 3.19 kilometers in, you'll find a refreshing water source close to the trail. Heading further, at 3.72 kilometers, you can take a break and refuel at the Steinlingalm restaurant with its picturesque surroundings.

As you reach the midway point of the hike, around 4.05 kilometers, you'll discover the Kampenwand-Ostgipfel peak offering breathtaking panoramic views. Continuing on, you'll encounter the Sultensattel saddle at 3.22 kilometers from the start, followed by the information point at Checkpoint Chiemgau King at 3.74 kilometers.

Further along the trail, at 3.85 kilometers from the start, there's an information point providing insights into the area. At 4.14 kilometers, you'll reach the Hochplattenscharte saddle, perfect for taking a breather while taking in the awe-inspiring vistas. Just a short distance away, at 4.14 kilometers, you can marvel at the Kampenwand - Äußerster Ostgipfel peak.

Throughout the hike, you'll also find benches strategically placed for resting and enjoying the surroundings.
