This hiking route to Al Monte Maniglia is an extremely difficult 16.427 kilometers long trail with an elevation gain of 1301 meters. The estimated duration for this route is 7 hours and 3 minutes.

The trail starts at a parking area and proceeds through a park at the beginning. As you hike further, you will come across an information point approximately 1.04 kilometers from the start. Around the 6.05 kilometer mark, there is a natural shelter called Barma, followed by the historic ruins of Opera Vallo Alpino at 0.67 kilometers. There is also a wayside shrine nearby.

At the midway point, about 8.21 kilometers from the start, you will find the peaks of Mont de Maniglia and Monte Maniglia. These peaks offer stunning views of the surrounding area.

Along the way, there are several points of interest such as a natural spring and an information point. Remember to bring an ample water supply, as well as snacks and a packed lunch. It's also advisable to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike.
