This extremely difficult 12.278-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Ötsch - Cima d'Accia peak. The trail starts at a parking area and immediately immerses you in the natural beauty of the area. As you make your way along the path, you will come across several points of interest.
About 1.67 kilometers into the hike, you will find an informative spot providing valuable insights into the region. Further along, at approximately 2.63 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a historic wayside cross. Additionally, at around 3.27 kilometers, there is another informative point to enhance your knowledge of the surroundings.
Midway through the trek, at 4.71 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Wannser Joch saddle, offering breathtaking views and a perfect spot to take a break. As you continue your ascent towards the peak, you may want to rest on one of the benches conveniently located about 1.68 kilometers from the starting point.
Finally, after a challenging yet rewarding hike of roughly 6.14 kilometers, you will reach the Ötsch - Cima d'Accia peak, where you can revel in panoramic vistas that make the journey truly worth it.
Given the length of the trail and the significant elevation gain of 1223 meters, this hike is recommended for experienced hikers.
