This moderate 6.669-kilometer out-and-back trail offers hikers a chance to explore the beautiful natural landscapes of the area. With an elevation gain of 171 meters, this trail is perfect for those looking for a bit of a challenge.
As you start your hike, you'll come across points of interest such as Apicocha, a water source located 1.52 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the route, at 2.11 kilometers, you'll find Patoquinuas, another water source. Make sure to stay hydrated on your journey.
For a break, visit Centro de Interpretacion La Toreadora, a cafe located 2.31 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to refuel and recharge before continuing on your adventure. Additionally, don't miss out on the viewpoints along the way, such as the one at 2.43 kilometers and others scattered throughout the trail.
For those driving to the trailhead, there is parking available at the beginning of the trail at 0.0 kilometers and also at various points along the route, making access convenient for hikers.
