Located in the beautiful Alpe Adois area, this hiking route offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. The 15.482 km trail has an elevation gain of 1398 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for those seeking a strenuous trek.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by a picturesque park for parking at the trailhead. Be sure to bring plenty of water as the first drinking water station is located 1.23 km from the start. The trail will lead you through lush landscapes and rocky terrain, with Colle delle Lance and Colle della Portia offering stunning views at 2.57 km and 4.74 km respectively. You will also come across the Monumento ai Caduti memorial at 5.73 km, a somber reminder of the area's history.
As you push on, Fontana della Adois spring at 3.36 km will provide a refreshing stop before you reach the peaks. The trail will take you to two peaks - the first peak at 6.39 km and the second peak at 7.74 km, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
