This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Veľká Skala. The trail is 7.979 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 353 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is recommended to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before setting out.

As you begin your journey, you will come across various points of interest. At the start, there is a parking area conveniently located for hikers. Along the way, you will pass by the Markušov and Vyšný Slavkov information points, providing insights into the area's history and attractions.

Midway through the hike, you will find the Charita information point, offering further information about the surroundings. Further along, you can explore the Veľká Skala rock formation and the Tunnel Gate, both offering stunning views of the landscape.

As you make your way back, take some time to visit the memorials of Doc. MUDr. Albín Kipikaša CSc. and Michal Olejár, paying tribute to the area's history. You can also rest at the picnic sites along the trail and admire the wayside shrines and shelters that dot the path.

For a more adventurous experience, you can also explore the cave entrance located 2.41 kilometers from the start. The route ends back at Veľká Skala, where you can take in the breathtaking views before heading back.
