This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail is 13.415 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 936 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers. It is an out-and-back route, so you will be retracing your steps on the way back.
As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area, which is located at the beginning of the trail. Be sure to park your vehicle here before starting your adventure. Along the way, you will find a drinking water facility just 0.03 kilometers from the start, where you can refill your water bottles.
Approximately 6.71 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Laghetto con sorgente, a small lake with a spring. This is a great spot to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Continuing on, you will pass by several information points and a restaurant, La Meridiana, if you need to grab a bite to eat.
Further along the trail, at about 6.15 kilometers from the start, you will find the Fontana del Rifugio CAI, a drinking water fountain, and a Sorgente con piccolo laghetto, a spring with a small lake, where you can take a break and admire the scenery.
As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the picnic site and shelter that are located along the trail. These are great spots to take a rest and soak in the natural beauty of the area. Additionally, you will find benches scattered along the trail for you to sit and relax.
