This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of RM-19, offering a moderate challenge with a distance of 3.032 kilometers and an elevation gain of 294 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is 1 hour and 26 minutes, so make sure to plan accordingly.

As you start your journey, you'll come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, about 0.41 kilometers into the hike, you'll find the Sima de las Palomas, a cave entrance and archaeological site. Although not directly on the trail, it's worth a short detour to explore this historical site. Nearby, there is an information point about the paleoanthropological site as well.

Further along the trail, at a distance of 1.52 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Cabezo Gordo, a natural peak with stunning views. A viewpoint is conveniently located right by the peak, offering a great spot to rest and take in the surrounding scenery.

Midway through the hike, at around 0.96 kilometers from the start, you'll find another cave entrance in the natural landscape. It's a unique feature worth checking out if you're interested in the geological aspects of the area.
