This hiking route in the Schindergraben area is a super easy out-and-back trail with a total distance of 1.5 kilometers and no elevation gain. The trail starts at a parking area where you can leave your car before heading out on the hike.

Along the way, you will pass by several points of interest. At around 280 meters from the start, you will come across the Hotel & Restaurant Weißer Hirsch, where you can stop for a meal or refreshments. Further into the hike, at the 460-meter mark, you will find the Unteres Schloss castle, a historic site worth exploring.

As you continue on, you will encounter benches and viewpoints where you can rest and take in the scenic surroundings. Be sure to visit the Ritterfelsen viewpoint at the 690-meter mark for stunning views of the area.

For those interested in history, make a stop at the Königlich sächsischer Meilenstein milestone at the 160-meter mark.
