This hiking route in Blaufeldscharte - Almbodensteg is a challenging but rewarding adventure for experienced hikers. The trail is a circular route that covers a distance of 14.865 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1431 meters, making it extremely difficult due to the length and steep inclines.
Starting at the parking area, hikers will pass by a water source just 0.06 kilometers into the trail, providing an opportunity to refill water bottles. At 0.13 kilometers, there is an alpine hut, Neunkirchner Hütte, where hikers can take a break and enjoy the scenic views.
