This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Dent du Velan peak in the alpine region. The trail starts at Refuge de Bise, a cozy alpine hut located just 0.06 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you make your way through the route, you will come across Les Cabrettes, a restaurant where you can refuel before continuing your journey.
Around 1.15 kilometers into the hike, you will find a natural water source, perfect for replenishing your supplies. Further along the trail, at 2.48 kilometers, you will reach Col D'Ugeon, a picturesque saddle offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
At approximately 2.87 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the highlight of the route, the Dent du Velan peak. Take in the breathtaking views from the summit before retracing your steps back along the trail.
Along the way back, you can stop by the drinking water source located 0.07 kilometers from the start to quench your thirst. Additionally, there are informational points such as Les Randonnées Autour de Bise and Chalets de Bise where you can learn more about the area's history and geography.
Please note that this trail spans a distance of 5.749 kilometers and involves an elevation gain of 516 meters, making it a difficult hike.
