The Mont Clapier hiking route is located in a stunning area surrounded by natural beauty. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 15.301 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1319.0 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you'll come across the Murs des Italiens, an archaeological site located 2.33 kilometers from the start. Further up the trail, at 4.56 kilometers, you'll find the ruins of an ancient site, offering a glimpse into the area's historic past.

At around 6.22 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter the picturesque Lacs du Mont Clapier, a perfect spot to rest and take in the beautiful surroundings. Continuing on, at 4.84 kilometers, you'll find the Refuge de Nice, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

Further along the trail, at 7.65 kilometers, you'll reach the peak of Mont Clapier, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Along the way, you'll also come across informative points of interest, providing insights into the area's natural and cultural significance.
