This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 12.48-kilometer journey to Lago Bianco dell'Agnel. The trail starts at a parking area and leads you through stunning alpine scenery.
Along the way, you will pass by the Refuge de Nice, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel. About halfway through the hike, you will come across the beautiful Lacs du Mont Clapier, perfect for a peaceful break by the water.
As you continue, you will encounter the Murs des Italiens, an archaeological site with historical significance. Further along the trail, you will find the ruins of old structures, adding a sense of mystery to your hike.
Be sure to stop by the various information points scattered along the route to learn more about the area's history and natural features. There is also a cave entrance nearby, adding an extra element of adventure to your journey.
With an elevation gain of 842 meters, this hike is challenging and not recommended for beginners. Be prepared with proper hiking gear, plenty of water, and snacks. Always check the weather forecast before setting out on this demanding adventure.
