This hiking route in the Egelmoosen area is a super easy out-and-back trail with a total distance of approximately 1.1 kilometers and no elevation gain.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the route. As you continue on, about 80 meters in, you'll find a cozy kiosk called "Kiosk am Schmuttersee" where you can grab a quick bite or a refreshing drink.

About halfway through the hike, at around 550 meters from the start, there is a natural water source where you can refill your water bottle and take a moment to appreciate the surrounding nature.

Since this is a short and easy hike, it is ideal for all skill levels, including beginners and families. However, it is always recommended to bring an adequate amount of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before heading out.
