Güterweg Hammerschmied

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Güterweg Hammerschmied. The trail is super easy with a total distance of 1.96 kilometers and an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you begin your hike, you will pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Parkplatz Gasthof, a parking area for hikers. Further along, you will come across the Stummer Mühle, a historic site and attraction, and Gasthof zum Sengsschmied, a restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine.

Midway through the hike, you will reach Pießling Ursprung, a natural spring that is a perfect spot to refill your water bottle and take in the surrounding scenery. Close by, there is a picnic site and an information board providing details about the area.

As you make your way back, you will pass by Roßleithen Ortsmitte, a shelter where you can rest if needed. Along the trail, you will also find several benches to sit and relax, as well as a cave entrance at Pießling Ursprung.
