Welcome to the hiking route to Pferdeloch in the beautiful area of Hitzelrode. This 2.041-kilometer long trail offers a relatively easy hike with an elevation gain of 147 meters, making it perfect for beginners or a leisurely stroll.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Wanderparkplatz Hitzelrode parking area, conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will pass by the Wanderparkplatz Mühlbachtal parking area, around the halfway point of the hike.

One of the highlights of this route is the Pferdeloch viewpoint, located approximately 1.02 kilometers from the start. Take a moment to soak in the stunning views before continuing on. Further along the trail, you will also encounter the Wolfstisch viewpoint, situated around 0.5 kilometers from the start.

For those interested in learning more about the area, there is an informational point just a short distance away from the trail. Additionally, if you need a rest or shelter, Helgas Eck pub is only 0.04 kilometers from the start.

As you make your way back, keep an eye out for the historic boundary stones that mark your path, adding a touch of heritage to your hike.
