Welcome to the hiking route to Astabizkar!

The trail starts in a beautiful area surrounded by nature, offering stunning views and archaeological sites along the way. This 10.22-kilometer route with an elevation gain of 414 meters is considered difficult due to its length and elevation.

As you begin your hike, you will come across "Zaguako etxola," a shelter located 1.95 kilometers from the start. Further along, at 2.64 kilometers, you will find the "Cromlechs Otarra Bizkarra 1-3," an archaeological site that adds a touch of history to your journey.

At around 3.61 kilometers into the hike, you will reach "Cromlechs Buztanberro 1-4," another fascinating archaeological site to explore. As you continue, be sure to check out the "Oialegiko lepoa" at 4.7 kilometers, a natural saddle providing a scenic spot to rest and take in the surroundings.

If you're up for a challenge, you can venture off the trail to visit "Artsalgo Gaina" and "Iparraldeko Kaskoa," two peaks located a bit further away. However, sticking to the main trail will lead you to the turnaround point at Astabizkar, a peak offering panoramic views of the area.

Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate gear for this demanding hike. Check the weather forecast before heading out and keep an eye out for trail markers to stay on course.
