This hiking route follows the Paul-Bantlin-Weg in a beautiful area, offering a wonderful outdoor experience. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 2.876 kilometers and an elevation gain of 137 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all levels of hikers.
Starting at Arlbergpass, you can find parking conveniently located right at the beginning of the trail. As you venture further along the path, you'll encounter several water sources midway through your hike, allowing you to refill your water bottle and enjoy the refreshing surroundings.
Around the 1.02 kilometer mark, there is a picturesque viewpoint where you can take in the stunning views of the Arlbergpass area. Additionally, at 1.09 kilometers into the hike, there is another water source for your convenience.
If you're looking for a place to rest and grab a bite to eat, the Arlberg Hospiz Hotel is located at a distance of 0.17 kilometers from the trail. Further along the path, you'll come across Rasthaus Passhöhe, a restaurant located just 0.04 kilometers away, perfect for a quick break.
For those interested in history, there is a wayside cross located 0.04 kilometers from the trail, as well as an information point at 0.14 kilometers into the hike. At the end of the trail, you'll find yourself back at Arlbergpass, completing the out-and-back route.
