Galzig

This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Galzig. The trail is 6.7 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 375 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It will take you approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Arlbergpass parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before setting off. Along the way, you will find various points of interest, such as the Maiensee at 1.14 kilometers from the start, offering a serene water view. The Galzig peak at 3.35 kilometers is a must-see, boasting breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

If you need a break or refreshments, the Arlberg Hospiz Hotel at 0.36 kilometers from the start, and the Hospiz Alm at 0.52 kilometers are great options. You can also enjoy a meal at the Rasthaus Passhöhe at 0.04 kilometers into the hike.

As you continue on the trail, you will pass by several water sources like the ones at 3.35 kilometers, where you can refill your water bottle. Additionally, there are benches and viewpoints along the way, offering a chance to rest and take in the scenery.
