This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Via Rivara. With a total distance of 12.454 kilometers and an elevation gain of 471 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart.

Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you will begin your journey surrounded by lush greenery. About 0.91 kilometers into the hike, you will come across some historic ruins, adding a touch of intrigue to your adventure. As you continue along the trail, you will encounter several natural water features, including a stream at 2.42 kilometers, a river at 3.5 kilometers, and a waterfall at 3.87 kilometers. These refreshing spots are perfect for a rest and a moment of tranquility amidst the rugged terrain.

At the midway point, around 6.23 kilometers in, you will find another water feature, offering a picturesque setting for a picnic or simply soaking in the serenity of nature. Be sure to pack plenty of water and snacks for this long and strenuous hike.
