This extremely difficult 17.871 kilometers long hiking route will take you to the majestic Sasso di Bosconero peak. The route is an out-and-back type, starting at a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this challenging journey.
As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest. Approximately 2.59 kilometers from the start, you will find the Casera Valbona shelter and a drinking water station, where you can rest and refill your water bottle. Further along, at around 3.9 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Bivacco Casera Campestrin wilderness hut, offering a picturesque spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
At the 5.78 kilometer mark, you will come across the Forcella del Matt saddle, providing a unique vantage point of the landscape. Continuing on, at 7.61 kilometers, you will find the Small Plateau viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.
