Located in the picturesque town of Castries, this super easy hiking route takes you on a journey through history and nature. The trail starts at the Impasse du Porche and covers a distance of 1.05 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for beginners or those looking for a leisurely walk.

As you start your hike, you'll come across the ancient Aqueduc de Castries, a historic aqueduct standing at a distance of 0.5 kilometers from the trail. Further along the path, you'll encounter the ruins of the Ancienne carrière du Colombier, providing a glimpse into the town's past at just 0.08 kilometers from the start.

Halfway through your hike, at around 0.52 kilometers from the beginning, you'll find both the Château de Castries and a parking area for those arriving by car. This castle and its surroundings offer a great spot to take a break and admire the views.

For nature lovers, there are two water features along the trail, with Fontaine de la Place des Halles and Monument à Victor Coste located at 0.51 and 0.52 kilometers from the start, respectively.
