Welcome to the hiking route to Château de Castries in Impasse du Porche. This easy out-and-back trail spans a distance of 2.113 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all levels.
The trail starts near Aqueduc de Castries, a historic aqueduct located right at the beginning of the hike. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across Il Rom Antico, a quaint restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat. About midway through the hike, you'll reach Château de Castries, a beautiful historic castle that provides a glimpse into the area's past.
Along the route, you'll also pass by a parking area at Parking Place des anciens combattants AFM, as well as several other parking spots for your convenience. Keep an eye out for Ancienne carrière du Colombier, the ruins of an old quarry located off the main trail.
For a refreshing break, you can visit the Fontaine de la Place des Halles, a fountain located at the end of the trail.
