This moderate 6.317-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Pic de Bazès area. Starting off, you'll find a parking spot right at the beginning of the trail to leave your vehicle. As you make your way, you'll come across the Cabanes Cuyou de Camps shelter about 1.69 kilometers into the hike, where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Further along the trail, at about 0.13 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Col de Couraduque saddle, offering breathtaking views of the area. Nearby, you'll also find Le Couraduque restaurant, a great spot to grab a bite to eat and recharge for the rest of the hike.
Continuing on, you'll pass by the Col de la Serre saddle at 0.87 kilometers from the start, and then the Col de Bazes saddle at 2.22 kilometers in. Finally, after a challenging trek, you'll reach the highlight of the hike - the Pic de Bazès peak at 3.07 kilometers from the start. Here, you can enjoy panoramic views and take in the beauty of the area.
Throughout the hike, make sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
