This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through a challenging but rewarding 10.945-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1419 meters. The trail starts at Centro Comercial El Marqués, where you can find parking facilities nearby. As you start your trek, you will come across Old Ranch, El Manjar del Marqués, and Brasero, where you can grab a bite to eat before continuing on your adventure.
About 2.44 kilometers into the hike, you will reach El Tanque, a drinking water stop to refill your bottles. Further along the trail, at around 2.94 kilometers, you'll find the Mirador El Edén viewpoint, offering a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. As you approach the 4.01-kilometer mark, another viewpoint awaits at an undisclosed location.
At 4.3 kilometers, there is another drinking water stop available, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your journey. Around 5.47 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the peak of Topo Goering, providing a sense of accomplishment and incredible views. Additionally, Topo Dos Banderas can be found at 4.03 kilometers from the start, offering another peak to conquer.
As an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps back to the starting point after reaching the destination. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and pack accordingly for the challenging terrain. It is recommended to check the weather forecast before heading out.
