This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Malga di Porta Manazzo. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of approximately 3.57 kilometers with an elevation gain of 73 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The estimated duration for this hike is around 1 hour.

Starting at the parking area, you will soon come across the Rifugio Val Formica, a charming alpine hut and restaurant located right on the trail. This can be a great spot for a break or a meal before continuing on your journey. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by several water sources, perfect for refilling your water bottle and staying hydrated throughout your hike.

At around 0.14 kilometers from the start, you will find one of the water sources, followed by another at 0.33 kilometers. Further along the trail, at 0.59 kilometers, there is another water source easily accessible for hikers. Additionally, at 0.9 kilometers, there is another water source located slightly off the trail, and at 1.21 kilometers, another water source can be found right on the trail.

As you reach the midway point of the hike at 1.62 kilometers, there is a water source slightly off the trail, followed by another water source at 1.78 kilometers, which is easily accessible from the trail. Finally, at 2.29 kilometers, you will reach a water source before making your way back to the starting point.
